Carnac the Magnificent

From the Johnny Carson show 1981. Carnac divines the answers to questions without knowing the questions. Pure comedy gold - Khun Rut

Ball and Chain

How I got there I don't know.... Janis doin' Ball and Chain at the 1st Monterrey Pop Festival in 67. Everyone wasted on Owsley's Monterrey Purple.... anyway here it is... just wow. - Khun Rut

Yum Yum Eat Em Up

I was talking to my friend John today while we were playing chess and some how it got around to Yum Yum Eat Em Up... I think it was the dog eating something. Anyhow he couldn't remember the classic Our Gang clip about it. I told him I thought it was a drunken indian chasing the kids around. But I remembered wrong it was the Wild Man from Borneo. This isn't the full episode but its about 9 minutes of comedy gold.

Sonny Criss - The Isle of Celia

Some how I followed a YouTube link to Kenny G. and got to thinking about my favorite sax player none other than the incomparable Sonny Criss. Yes, a quick search located several videos. This was the lead tune from his last studio LP Crisscraft. Such a gifted player, with lovely phrasing, and fast but clean. You won't hear a slurred note ever from Sonny unless he wants it that way. Enough play the video and go search out some more of this under-appreciated West Coast Cool alto player. - Khun Rut

Daffy and Porky

For all you people out there in need of your daily cartoon fix. Daffy and Porky
